Is Facebook Marketing Still Cheap ?
I have been getting some feedbacks from some of my friends that Facebook clicks is getting more and more expensive. I have to face it… yes, the per click amount has increased dramatically and gone were the days where you get to pay pennies for your ads.
Then again, recently, after Facebook got its IPO, I believe they are also becoming stricter on the approval of their ads, going the route that Google once does. This again, will help in reducing the competition and at the same time, I believe, will reduce the cost per click.
Truth is, in Facebook… like all other PPC out there… the higher your Click Through rate, the lower per click you will pay for your ad.
This really boils down to how well you can narrow down your market through their demographics and psychographics, then, write a really compelling message to capture their attention. This will, in turn, increase your CTR.
With the coming of the mobile age and the accessibility of facebook through mobile, it becomes clear that mobile is the way to go. And having your ads appearing in news feed currently, seems like a very “cheap way” to getting your traffic.
Again… while you are doing that, make sure you narrow down your demographic nicely… then… create a really compelling message that’ll drag your potential prospect in.
In my recent test, I was able to get clicks to as low as $0.06.
Cheap clicks… and certainly a lot of leverage to it.
Here’s some screen shot I took on getting really cheap clicks on Facebook
6 cents click still alive and kicking
A 10% CTR – A Good CTR will reduce your cost per click
So… the days of cheap clicks is still available… it really boils down to how targeted you can get and of course, your written message.
