Slept just 3 hrs for the past 48 hours( Can you see my eyebags ??)… hopefully.. all will come back to me well. I am looking to make another run at a 6 figure annual income.

Hopefully, when my friend’s site is launch and all.. it will all come back to boost up my bank account… then.. its going to be another short break for me again.. keke.

Of course I am not dependent on my friend’s massive launch… I just started a new affiliate offer and starting to monetize it.

Well… here is a big big tip for newbie affiliate marketers… what I found out was that affiliate marketing is actually becoming harder to do than being your own product owner. Reason being, you can’t just hit the angles like you do with your usual products.

Not to forget, thousands of affiliates are competing with you on the same angle. So.. unless you are able to find that unique angle to drive traffic to your site… capture your prospects… then start to do the backends, it is going to be hard.. and also one of the reasons why many new internet maketers fail.

In other words… one time sales don’t work anymore… instead.. try fostering a relationship with your customers and subscribers. You need a list.. period. Any internet marketers or gurus who tells you you don’t need one… its important that you move away from them… bunch of greedy people who just wants your money…

To add to my tiredness… I actually went gym today… well.. had to go back in shape and.. get my verticals back. Age is catching up.. and sometimes… I just feel so old… as the body don’t seem to recover fast enough…. sad.

Now.. off to my mum’s place for dinner… and I guess I’ll nap early tonight… ZzzZzz

I know this sounds silly but a lot of new marketers are not doing so.

They blog or post articles based on keywords which they want to monetize. So in the end.. their blogs or site is just full of articles that are too “technical” or should I say… too professional.

Yes… keywords are important.. but whats more important however.. is the concerns and the problems of the market.

You need to write for your readers !!

If you want to generate conversation or in web 2.0 terms, free user generated content… you need to address the concern of your market. When you are able to do that, your blog or website will be very sticky and encourage more people to re-visit them again.

Yes… top notch contents are important, but interaction is what builds and keeps your readers from feeling at home and welcome… that way.. they will bookmark your site, subscribed to your rss, come back for more and even help spread your links around.

Think about this… how many sites have you seen with good quality content… bookmark them and never go back to read them again ? I don’t know about you but… I’ve a couple of sites that I put inside my browse bookmark and haven’t visited them for ages.

Content is king… Yes.. but the key to domination is interaction… which is the new wave how search and business is going to be… after all.. we are in a people’s business.

It is therefore, crucial that you encourage user participation through your blogs and content. Let them know what to do. Tell them to ask a question… answer promptly so that others will follow suit… when you are able to do that… you will dominate your niche.

This screen shot was taken from one of my niche market… As you can see… This blog is only 47 weeks old.. which is less than a year… and it has garnered over 250,000 views and generated well over 5 Figures in profit.

Not a lot of money… but the key point to note is interaction…

In fact… I actually killed my competition who was in this little niche for 4 years.. putting him out of business this year…using this very same strategy I mentioned above… user interaction.

And if you are in business… you just have to do that… business is war… and while you will need to care and give the best for your customers… you want to destroy your competition completely.

Cruel… ?? Well… what do you think your competition thinks about you when you step into his marketing space ?

He probably wants you dead too…

So… if you are in business… always adopt a merciless mindset… there are no rooms for 2 champions…

In order to start, you need to have a consolidation point for all your prospects and how they can reach you. It is important before diversifying too wide and too thin over your market space.

The beauty of social media is that it allows you to share links and post status updates through your profile and feed. This is key to your success.

This is because, when your prospects or friends know the only place they can find you, they will only go to that place, ie, facebook, twitter and get connected with you. So.. this builds a solid foundation base for all your potential friends, prospects and customers.

Now.. using this platform, you can then use it to funnel them through your different platforms such as blogs, youtube, opt ins everytime you do a new post, video or product.

The beauty of it is that once you can direct your customers to where they want to go, unconsciously, they will be opt in and subscribe to your blog, your email.. or even your youtube channel. Once that happens, your message will be seen everywhere and anywhere.

Don’t forget the linking power of how social media works.. for they can like what they see… they can share what they see with their friends.. or even re-tweet what you’ve tweet, helping you explode your exposure virally…

So.. if you are looking to dominate using social media strategies.. start by force feed your contacts into a single platform first before sending them to other places to consume the contents.

In fact, according to comScore, Facebook is also first when it comes to the total amount of time users are spending on the site.

In August, U.S. web users spent 41.1 million minutes on Facebook, which was about 9.9 percent of their entire web-surfing time in that month.

In this same period, people spent 39.8 million minutes on all of Google’s sites, and those include another huge online timesink — YouTube.

comScore puts Yahoo in third place, with U.S. web users spending 37.7 million minutes on its sites, which was about 9.1 percent of their web surfing time in August.

Now… we are looking at some really crazy numbers here and for business and marketers wise… if you have not started your switch or at least start to do your marketing through facebook, then.. you are going to be behind the market trend.

The main beauty of facebook is because of the networks. Whatever you do or wishes to share, will be made known to all your other friends.

For example, when you like a fan page, and if you have 2000 friends that are in your friend’s list, they will be able to see what you like. So.. when say.. 30 of these friends also happen to have your same interest and see what you like, they too can spread to a second tier of people.

In other words… your business can really spread virally.

Factoring in the fact that the amount of time people spend on facebook… your business can only become better.

Another advantage of using facebook is the demographics and psychographics of your target market… their interest, likes, hobbies, age group.

Now this is even bigger… because now that you are able to target the right audience with either free or very little advertising dollars. Its so powerful that its crazy…

Once you know how to properly target your audience… you can literally put tons of visitors and traffic to your website for pennies on the dollar.

This above was a screen shot I did to test a recent campaign. As you can see.. the first ad cos just 0.2 cents per click ! and the second ad cost about just 0.8 cents per click.

Overall.. that’s 2400 targeted traffic funneled through where I want them to go.

Imagine doing this through Google Adwords… not only do you need to worry about your quality score.. but you also have to watch out before burning a hole in your advertising budget.

and no.. I am not asking you to switch over to Facebook completely, but rather.. you need to diversify and attack your market in different ways and different angles.

So.. if you have not started your marketing campaign through Facebook… its high time that you do so =)
